Louise Jarman

Ruby Louise Crouse Jarman, 80, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2008 in Gilbert, Arizona following a lengthy illness. She was born on November 14, 1927 to Willard Louis Crouse and Ruby Ruth Zufelt in Phoenix, Arizona. On May 8, 1946, Louise married her sweetheart, Eugene Robert Jarman (son of William Charles Jarman and Ida Taylor) and together, they were sealed, in the Mesa Arizona Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Louise and Bob have spent their summers in Lakeside, Arizona since the 1960's. She loved crafts and scouting, and became an expert at what she loved. She and her husband owned two businesses that she ran; Auction City in South Phoenix and Granny's Hobbies and Supplies in East Phoenix. She is survived by: her husband Bob Jarman; 5 children: William Douglas Jarman (Marsha Crandell), Linda Louise Meeker (Frederick Rodney), Robie Jeane Smith (Roger Lloyd), Mary Lou Bowman (Rick), Robert Keith Jarman (Shelby Lea Livingston); 3 siblings: Ella Mary Herndon (Melvin Nephi), Lori Lou Andes (Fred Baker), and Carol June Brand (Karl); sister-in-law, Bebe Colleen "Connie" Johnson Crouse; 25 grandchildren and 61 great-grandchildren, and she will be missed by all. She was preceded in death by her brother, Willard David Crouse. A viewing will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Wed., June, 25, 2008 at the Palo Verde Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 390 N. Greenfield Road in Gilbert (N. of Elliot, on Greenfield). The funeral will be 10:00 A.M., Thurs., June 26, 2008 at the church. Interment will follow at The City of Mesa Cemetery. Contributions to Desert Oasis Hospice, 20815 N. 25th Pl., A106, Phoenix, AZ 85050 or to the Gilbert Arizona Temple Fund of The Church have been suggested by her family.
