Socorro Soto Jaramillo

Socorro "Cora" Jaramillo, 91 of Snowflake, AZ died peacefully in her sleep at her home with her family by her side on Thursday August 16, 2007. Cora was born on April 5, 1916 in Silver Creek Ranch in Shumway, AZ to Petra and Encarnacion Martinez. She was a sister to 2 brothers, Faustino Martinez (deceased) and Benito Martinez; 2 sisters, Cruz Armijo (deceased) and Miquela Sedillo (deceased). She was a loving mother to 8 children, Ramona (Mel) Gonzales, Dora Rivera, Robert Romero (deceased), Chuco Romero (deceased), Vina (Roger) Baca, Stephanie Mohoff, Phillip (Sharrell) Jaramillo and Cruz (John) Cox. She was a loving grandmother to 24 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday August 21, 2007, at Our Lady Of The Snow Catholic Church in Snowflake. Interment followed at the R.V. "Mike" Ramsey Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake.
