Nellie James

Nellie James, born April 21, 1935 in Jeddito, Arizona passed away June 7, 2007, in Lakeside, Arizona. Nellie loved animals and the comfort of others around her. She was a Navajo Herbalist, who loved to help others. She is survived by a daughter Debra James of Blue Gap, Arizona; 4 sisters, Annie Attakei, of Jeddito, Virginia James of Winslow, Peggy Begay, and Marie James both of Pinetop; 2 brothers Jimmy Jo James of Jeddito, and Johnny James of Pinetop; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. Nellie was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, and 1 sister. The family would like to express their thanks to all of those who helped them out at the Show Low Group home. They would also like to thank RTA Hospice for the love and comfort they gave to all her family. Funeral Services will be Wednesday June 13, 2007, 10:00 AM (Arizona time) at the Jeddito Community Church. Interment will follow at the Jeddito Cemetery.
