Peggy Kathleen Jackson, age 57 of Clay Springs, passed away at her home on Monday, February 12, 2007. Mrs. Jackson was born September 4, 1949 in Safford. She grew up in Thatcher where she attended school and graduated in 1967. Following High School she attended Eastern Arizona College where she majored in Business, she received her Associates Degree with Honors n 1969. After College she went to work for Valley National Bank in The Salt River Valley. She then returned to The Gila Valley and worked for the School District. In 1977 she met Lowell Jackson and they were married January 21, 1978 in the Mesa Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Following their marriage, they made there home in the Gila Valley briefly and then moved to Clay Springs where they would spend their lives together. She was a homemaker. She loved the Fine Arts & served in many different church callings through out her life. Peggy is survived by her husband, Lowell Vernon Jackson of Clay Springs; daughters, Lacey Marie Weatherford of Mesa, Amy Krista McKane of Queen Creek and Cara Leah Holladay of Mesa; son, Glen Lowell Jackson of Tempe; sisters, Marva June Sanders of Sahuarita and Geneva Kay Mullenaux of Thatcher and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lora Laree, parents, Glen & Verma Moody and one sister, Glenna Jackson. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 17, 2007 at the Clay Sprigs Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Visitation will be held at 9:30 A.M. at the Church.
