Byron Elvis Ivins 21, of Cibecue, passed away on December 20, 2006. Byron was born February 25, 1985 in Whiteriver Arizona to the late Marvin Ivins and Saraphina Lee. He received his education in Cibecue. After his schooling, he worked as a firefighter and a tree planter for the Forestry Department for the White Mountain Apache Tribe. He also worked in the construction business doing fencing. Byron enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also was involved in the Rodeo Circuit and participated in several bull riding competitions. All who knew and loved him will miss his sense of humor. Byron is survived by his companion Bonnie of Cibecue, mother Saraphina Lee of Cibecue, one son Darnell Ivins of Cibecue, a God sister Celeste Bonito of Whiteriver and many other family members and friends. He is also expecting another child in June. Services will be held Saturday December 30, 2006 and 10:00 am at the Cibecue Miracle Church visitation will be held 10:00 am on Thursday December 28, 2006 Internment will be at The Open Range Cemetery in Cibecue Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
