Marian (Willis) Hunt, age 61, of Taylor, AZ passed away November 25, 2006 at St Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix. She was a lifelong resident of the Snowflake/Taylor area. She worked for the Snowflake School District for more than twenty years and was employed by Show Low Construction at the time of her death. She had a great love for crocheting and made many afghans that will keep her loved ones warm as they remember the great lady that she was. Marian was an avid gardener with more that fifty rose bushes at her home. She installed a love of sports, reading, canning and gardening to her children and grandchildren. She took great pride in being a grandmother and had a special touch in soothing her grandbabies. Marian is survived by her husband, Chester Hunt of Taylor; one son, Warren (Kelli) Willis of Goessell, Kansas; two daughters, LaNae Willis (John) Harding of Kuna, Idaho and Carlene Willis (Larry) Cluff of Linden; her mother, Myrtle Loveless of Taylor; a sister, Sharon Keith of Taylor; two brothers, Ray West of Taylor and Reese Loveless of Show Low and 24 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Karl Marion West; her step-dad, Ralph Loveless; a sister, Carolyn West; a brother, Gayle Loveless and a granddaughter, Laken LaNae Harding. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday December 1st at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taylor Stake Center with a visitation one hour prior to services at the church and from 6-8:00 P.M. Thur. November 30th at Owens Mortuary in Snowflake. Interment will be in the Taylor cemetery. Owens Mortuary of Snowflake handled arrangements.
