Betty Jo Hoy

Betty Jo "B.J." Hoy died early Saturday morning, November 1, 2008 at her home in Overgaard, Arizona. She was 53 years old. B.J. was born on June 27, 1955 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Owen Duncan and Josephine Jeanette (Abbott) Bell. When about 3 years of age, she moved from her native Ohio to Arizona. After receiving her real estate license, she began an long and productive career as a real estate agent. She has lived in Overgaard the past several years and thoroughly enjoyed living amongst the tall pine trees along the Mogollon Rim. She is survived by her husband, George Phillip Hoy; children, Samuel Washburn, Brandon Washburn, Bethany Odebralski, Gregory Washburn, Branden Hoy and Corrie North; 12 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Gary Bell and Robert Bell; sister, Patricia Eich. A Memorial service will be held 1:00 PM, Sunday, November 9, 2008 at B.J.'s residence 2864 Turkey Trail in Overgaard, Arizona.
