George Jaramillo Hill

George Jaramillo Hill, age 66, passed away May 7, 2009 at Hospice Compassus in Lakeside. George was born November 4, 1942 in St. Johns, Arizona to the late Lorenzo & Christina (Jaramillo) Hill. Many will remember George riding around town on his bike with his best friend Willey riding in the basket with him. They were such good friends that Willey would wait for George, in his basket until George was done with whatever he was doing. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and to cut wood. George was willing to help anyone in need. He is survived by his best friend who took care of him till the end, George Reidhead; 2 daughters; Vivian (Randy) Taylor and Rhonda Hill (Dave Johnson); step-daughter, Frances (Leonard) Wagner; 14 grandchildren; Adam, Holly, Bo, Brandy, Samantha, Nicole, Jason, Alana, Amas, Joshua, Elizabeth, Christopher, Johnathon, Stacey; 5 great-grandchildren; Colby, Chloe, Kyrin, Kali, Dan; sister, Annie Benta of Springerville; brothers, Gilbert (Libby) Hill of Springerville, Elmo (Dela) Archuleta of Snowflake; sister, Violet Stowell of Springerville; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jeff Hill and sister Dora Serna. Private services will be held at a later date.
