Chellereine Divine Hansen

December 27, 2008 — February 11, 2008

Chellereine Divine Hansen, who was very much loved by her parents, Kevin and Rochelle (Honorio) Hansen, went to be with Jesus last Monday, February 11, 2008, in Flagstaff, Arizona. She was born premature on December 27, 2007, weighing 3 lbs 5 ounces, nearly 11 weeks early. Even though she was born too early, Chellereine was strong and she was a fighter. She showed intelligence and sharpness; to her parents, she was amazing. Her tiny eyes were so attentive, she could communicate straight to your heart. She had so many facial expressions, she could let you know exactly how she felt. Chellereine mostly smiled at her parents and would frequently stare right into her parents eyes. Whenever her Mom and Dad would hold her and kangaroo care her, nothing else around her seemed to matter, for she simply latched on to her parents stares and didn't take her eyes off of them. When her Mother and Dad would talk to her she would simply look at their faces, eyes and mouths, as if she understood every single word they spoke to her. Even while in her mother's womb, her parents would talk to her. She always seemed to respond by kicking and when they would put their hands on mommy's tummy she would move to where their hands were; as if she were trying to reach for them. Chellereine was so great and amazing from the time she was in the womb to the time she was born and started to grow. It is heartbreaking that she only lived for 46 days, but during her short life she showed everyone that she could almost do anything that a full term baby could do. Having her is the best thing that ever happened and the best experience of her parents' life. Chellereine was the perfect child that parents dream and pray for. In fact, she probably was too perfect for this world and that's why God took her back to be with Him. This beautiful and smart baby girl, with the angelic face, will never be forgotten; nor will she ever be compared or replaced. Forever she will remain in the hearts of her parents. She knows that the day will come that she will be re-united with her parents in heaven who will finish raising her there and will be able to do all the things that they were not able to do here on earth. Chellereine knows that she will always be loved and that the love that she shared will be felt forever. Chellereine Divine Hansen is survived by: her parents, Kevin and Rochelle Hansen of Lakeside, Arizona; paternal grandmother, Maureen Hansen; maternal grandparents, Sigfredo & Numervita Honorio; 3 uncles and 5 aunts. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 14, 2008 at Owens Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street in Show Low, Arizona. Interment will follow at the Lakeside Cemetery.
