Levi Dean Hancock, age 55, passed away June 30, 2008 in Clay Springs, Arizona. Levi was born to Levi Hancock and Lou Ann (Garvin) Boring September 29, 1952 in McNary, Arizona. He was a Master Chainsaws Man who was highly skilled and very creative in woodworking. He enjoyed handcrafting tables, clocks, mantels and anything involved with wood. Levi also enjoyed being in the woods so much that he preferred to live in a tent rather than a house. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish, collect Indian Artifacts and cutting wood for people around the area. Levi worked as a logger throughout his life working for various logging companies throughout the United States. He is survived by his fiancé, Tonia Rider of Show Low, 3 daughters Tracie (Sam) Lujan of Clay Springs, AZ, Amber (Tom) Sliwinski of Surprise, AZ, Crystal (Josh) Matea, of Ohio; son, Cody Hancock, of Ohio; daughter of fiancé, Jazmien Shuff of Show Low; 11 grandchildren, Sabra, Jamie, Kelsi, Kaily, Triston, Viktor, Samantha, Dylan, Zeke, Melody, Dakota; 3 sisters, Anna Howard, Lou Etta Davis, Monty Spear; 3 brothers, Joe Hancock, Vance Hancock, Jon Kuhn; mother, Lou Ann Boring. He was preceded in death by father, Levi Hancock; step-father, Frank Kuhn, step-father Robert Boring; son, Levi Miles Hancock; daughter, Shannon Hancock. Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday July 5, 2008 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Clay Springs Chapel. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services. Interment will be at the Clay Springs Cemetery.
