Lewis Wales Graham

Lewis Graham, 63, long time Eagar, AZ resident and businessman passed away quietly at home with his family by his side, Tuesday April 14, 2009 after a battle with cancer. Born June 28, 1945 in Albuquerque, NM to parents Lewis Sr., and Edna (Ramsey) Graham. Lewis grew up in New Mexico and Arizona, and settled in Eagar nearly 34 years ago. A devout member of The Springerville Assembly of God Church. Lewis was constantly trying to find ways of bettering his community, from driving the Children's Sunday School bus, to direct hands-on labor and volunteering. Lewis enjoyed all things mechanical, and was well known among friends and family as the "go-to guy" for help with any repair or problem that needed solved. Lewis is survived by his wife, Lourdes Graham of Eagar AZ; daughter & son-in-law, Leah & Craig Mowry of Bernalillo, NM, daughter & son-in-law, Julie & Bobby Montiel of Belen, NM; son & daughter-in-law, Lewis Jr. & Theresa Graham of Alamogordo, NM; two sisters, Patricia Schalbrack of San Diego CA, and Kay Pritchett of Oolagah OK; 13 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16. A celebration of Lewis' life will be hosted by Pastor Dennis Weiskircher at the Springerville Assembly of God on April 25, 2009 at 2pm.
