Robert "Bill" Gall, 73, of Overgaard, passed away on October 2, 2007 in Show Low. Mr. Gall, a retired owner of an office equipment sales and service store, was born August 27, 1934 in Holland, Ohio to the late William & Gertrude (Ewing) Gall. "Bill" grew up and attended school in Ohio, graduating in 1952. Following high school, he attended Tri-State College in Angola, IN. He then enlisted in the Army, where he served in the Korean Conflict. During his military service, he met Marian Vickers on a blind date. He returned from Korea 16 months later and they married on March 16, 1957. They made their home in Florida, then they moved to Phoenix. Five years later, Bill opened A-1 Typewriters and Adders in Phoenix. He owned that shop for 25 years, retiring in 1984. While in retirement, he enjoyed traveling in his motor home. In 1998 they settled in Overgaard. Bill loved to play bridge. He is survived by his wife, Marian G. Gall, of Overgaard and Casa Grande; daughter, Sherry Foresythe, of Surprise, AZ; 2 sons, T. Hoby Gall, of Lehi, UT and Kelly Gall, of Cle Elum, WA; sister, Roberta Heiden, of Palmetto, FL; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Private Memorial Services will be held.
