Richard Dennis Dutton

Richard Dennis Dutton, of Sun Valley, entered eternal life March 11, 2010 at his home. He was 66. Richard was born September 23, 1943 in Riverside, CA to the late Fredric and Imogene (Norman) Dutton. Richard was well known for being a great cook. He enjoyed cooking Bar-be-que and making home made candy. He was known as "The Candy Man" by those who knew him best as he make candy for all his friends and family during Christmas time. He was the Assistant Chief for the Sun Valley Rescue Fire Department for 10 years. A kind-hearted gentleman he will be missed by all. He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Louise Dutton of Sun Valley; 3 daughters, Lou Ann (Jack) Scoggin of Woodruff, Diana (John) Serna of Holbrook and Dawn (Perry) Holley of Atlanta; grandchildren, Claire (George) Miller of Eunice, NM, Anthony Serna, Johnathan (Vanessa) Serna, Orlando Serna and Chewie Serna all of Holbrook; great-grandchildren, Scheyann Miller and Christiana Serna; nieces, Julie White and Jeannie Stout. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
