Cristobal Francisco "Cris" Cruz, affectionately called "Bubba" by his family and friends, passed away tragically on Wednesday morning, October 29, 2008 in an automobile accident in Navajo County, Arizona. He was a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Cris was the owner of CFC Enterprises and Notorious Mobile and was a former employee of Spencer's Lawn and Garden. Cristobal was born on September 19, 1987 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Roberto and Henrietta (Madrid) Cruz. He loved to customize pickups, especially his Chevy S-10. He enjoyed vehicle restoration, installing custom stereo equipment and anything that had to do with "Batman." "Bubba" was also a Squire in the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his fiance': Arista Ellis; his mother: Henrietta Madrid; his sister: Sonia Gallegos; his godparents: Rudolph and Cathy Griffe; his grandparents: Art and Betty Madrid; his nephew: Joshua Francisco Gallegos; and a host of other family and friends. The Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M., Thursday, November 6, 2008 at the Shrine of Remembrance "America The Beautiful" Chapel. The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, November 7, 2008 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 331 Main Street in Security, Colorado. A Celebration of Life Reception will immediately follow the funeral mass as the Knights of Columbus Hall. Blessed be his memory. He was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
