In loving memory of Cody Lane Cosay, known as "Geronimo"; Cody, the Falcon, will be escorted to the family home by the Alchesay Falcon Athletes on Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 10:00 AM for a two night wake. (Athletes meet at the main highway at 9:30 AM). Cody is survived by his mother, Denise Deedee Lupe; his father, Nathaniel Cosay Sr.; brother, Lydell Quintero; sisters, Kirstin Lupe and Brittney Cosay; stepsister, Darrilynn Burnette; stepbrother, Nathaniel Cosay Jr.; grandmothers, Charlene Lupe & Dollie Guy; Godmother, Malinda Amos; Godfather, Major Susan; aunts, Pam, Mary, Ruby Lupe; Kathy Red Bird; Janice Joplin, Nita Quintero; uncles; Luppino Lupe, Jess Quintero Jr., Nobert Quintero, Wayland Altaha Jr., 4 traditional Godsisters; Denise Titla, Kirsten Duncan, Fayrene & Farrin Holden. He is preceded in death by his grandpa, Adam Lupe Sr. A Rosary will be held Thursday, March 19, 2009 at 5:00 PM and on Friday March 20, 2009 at 7:00 PM followed by a Eulogy Service. On Saturday, March 21, 2009, the last viewing will end at 10:30 AM. A last "ride" will be at 10:45 AM, lead by Uncle Gary Kniffen and the Rez Riders from Cody's home to the Chief Alchesay Activity Center where the funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. Father Eddie Fronske will officiate. Interment will follow at the Whiteriver Cemetery.
