Patrick Conway

Patrick Conway of Lakeside, AZ passed away at his home from a long term illness July 22, 2007. Mr. Conway was born the son of John & Loretta Conway, August 22, 1928 in Del Rapids, South Dakota. He was a career Navy man and served on the Yorktown and the Coral Sea as a ship's barber. After retiring in the mid 70's he bought and developed property in the Heber/Overgaard area. He was the owner of Conway's Firewood and a barber in the private sector for a number of years before retiring to manage his property investments. Patrick moved to Lakeside in 2004 where he lived until his death. He is survived by his 2 sons, Patrick David Conway of Cohoes, NY and James Michael Conway of Topeka, Kansas; a grandson, Jeremy Conway of Topeka, Kansas; and a brother Jerry Conway, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He was preceded in death by his sister Margaret Conway, of Chicago. Funeral Services will be held at Owens Mortuary in Show Low Wednesday July 25, 2007 at 10:00 AM with a visitation 1 hour prior at the mortuary. Internment will be at the National Memorial Cemetery Of Phoenix Thursday July 26, 2007 at 11:00 AM.
