Joy Olivine Chlarson

Joy O. Chlarson, age 86, passed away April 28, 2008 in Lakeside, Arizona. She was born May 13, 1921 in Manitou, Oklahoma to the late John Oliver and Nila Belle (Montgomery) Thompson. She loved her family and animals; especially her dogs and cats. Joy is survived by her sons, H.R. (Sue) Chlarson, Mike (Margaret) Chlarson, Shawn (Carrie) Chlarson; daughters, Linda Prather, Karla Sheaffer; 14 grand children, 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great- great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Karl Chlarson; son, Karl J. Chlarson; and a great grandson, Lee Cosby. Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Owens Mortuary Chapel 320 N. 9th Street, Show Low, Arizona. A visitation will begin at 9:00 AM prior to the Funeral Service. Interment will be at the Show Low Cemetery. The Chlarson family would like to express their gratitude to the caring staff at RTA Hospice & Palliative Care of Show Low.
