Frances "Pancha" Castillo, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully on June 14, 2008 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Frances was born on January 1, 1928 in San Fidel, New Mexico. As one of eight children Frances grew up in Quemado, New Mexico before moving to McNary, Arizona where she graduated from McNary High School in 1948. Pancha fell in love with and married Tony "Junebug" Castillo in July of 1948. They would of celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on July 10th. Frances and Tony moved to Holbrook where they lived and raised their 3 children. Frances was a kind, loving and caring person with the heart and spirit that was an inspiration to everyone that was lucky enough to know her. She lived her live and her faith as an example for all her family. She leaves behind her husband Tony, 3 children, Jerry, Susan, and Vera; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. The Recitation of The Rosary will be held 7:00 PM Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 212 E. Arizona Street in Holbrook. The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Friday, June 20, 2008 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will be at the Holbrook Cemetery.
