Roy Allen Canty

Roy Allen Canty, age 79, passed away November 04, 2007 in Show Low, Arizona. Roy was born September 28, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Ralph & Elenora Canty. Roy retired from IBM after 20 years. He and his wife Garee moved to Show Low after nearly 30 years of residency in Tucson. He is survived by his wife: Garee Canty of Show Low; son, David Canty of New York; 5 daughters, Susan Hall, Amanda Jolitz, Erin Rednour, all of Illinois, Theresa Mashburn of Alabama, Colleen Maki of Georgia; 15 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; as well as many cousins. Roy is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph & Elenora Canty; brother, Blaine Canty. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
