Lile Gregg Bushman

June 18, 1953 — July 21, 2008

Lile Gregg Bushman, age 55, passed away July 21, 2008 at Scottsdale Osborne Hospital in Scottsdale, AZ. He was born on June 18, 1953 in Whiteriver to the late Preston A. & Daphne (Decker) Bushman. Lile grew up in the Show Low, Holbrook, Joseph City and Safford areas graduating from Sanders High School in 1971. He then attended a Computer Design and Drafting School in Mesa. On November 20, 1989 in Holbrook he married Linda Gishi. Lile was self-employed as a woodman and as an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He was an excellent chef and mechanic as well and was a proud member of the White Mountain Apache Tribe. Lile had a funny sense of humor that will be missed by all. Lile is survived by his wife, Linda (Gishi) Bushman of Holbrook; father, Levi DeHose of Cibecue; sisters, Marcia Gatewood of Cibecue, Valarie Gatewood of Whiteriver; brothers, Alfonso (Vangie) Gatewood, Keith Gatewood and Glenn (Bertha) Gatewood all of Cibecue; mother-in-law, Lucy (Morris) Gishi of Holbrook; brother-in-laws; Roy Gishi, Jr. of Holbrook, Ernest (Barbara) Gishi of Tuba City and Lee Roy (Michele) Gishi of Gaitersburg, MD; sister-in-law; Gloria (Gishi) (Dennis) Price, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Edith (Gregg) Bread; sisters, Virginia Acheson and Georganna Spurlock; brothers, Garland Bushman, Rex Bushman, Preston A. Bushman, Jr., Louis Bushman, John Virgil Bushman and Mitchell Bushman; maternal grandparents, Nora Cromwell and Dennis Gregg; paternal grandparents, Minnie & James DeHose. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 25, 2008 at the Holbrook Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Show Low Cemetery immediately following.
