Arvid Edward Burke, age 87, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009 in Show Low, Arizona. He was born October 17, 1921 in Effie, Minnesota to Edward Burke and Anna Marie Kyllonen Burke; Ed served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He came to Lakeside, Arizona in the early 70's as a "timber faller". He is survived by 2 children; Dianna Sentell and Phillip Hughes. Ed was preceded in death by his wife. Ouida Burke. Private services were held.
