Marilyn J. Brown, 79, of Vernon, Arizona passed away October 3, 2007. Marilyn was born February 22, 1928 in Richie, Montana at home by a midwife, to the late Earl & Olathena (Olsen) Turner. She loved to dance, crochet and do crossword puzzles. Marilyn also loved to work on the ranch and take care of the cattle. Marilyn is survived by her husband, Dick Brown of Vernon, AZ; 3 sons, Dennis (Deb) Brown of Camp Verde, AZ, Kim (Susan) Brown of Williams, AZ, and Perry (Dawn) Brown of The Colony, TX; 2 daughters, Sherilyn Showman of Monroe, WA and Melodee Frisch (Scott) of Camp Verde, AZ; 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Eleanor Methvin of Redding, CA and Joyce Johnson of Wheatfield, AZ, as well as a brother, Fred Turner, of Mesa, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl & Olathena Turner Services will be held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Show Low Stake Center with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the same location. Interment will follow at the Show Low Cemetery.
