Katherine Shipley Braswell

Katherine Braswell, age 51, died at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Show Low, Arizona on Thursday, May 8, 2008. She was born October 25, 1956 in McNary, Arizona. Katherine was a loving mother and grandmother who loved her family and grandchildren. She loved the arts, outdoors, poetry, gardening and collecting Indian artifacts. She will be greatly missed but we know that she is reunited with her son, Charles Earl Braswell, who died on December 28, 1990. She is survived by 2 daughters; Jennifer Hobart and Misty Hobart (Joey Watson) both of Mesa, AZ: 1 son, Harley Hobart (Angie Lakoskey) of Mesa, AZ; mother, Genevie Shipley, of Show Low; 2 sisters: Maxine White of Oklahoma, Mary Shipley of Lakeside; 2 brothers: Russell Shipley of Oklahoma, Buddy Shipley of Show Low; her companion, Gary Bryan of Show Low; 8 grandchildren: Amara Rae Davis, Faith Watson, Mikayla Hobart, Chaz Harley Hobart, Tommy Lakoskey, Shaynee Lakoskey, Trevor Lakoskey, Tommy Watson; 1 nephew, Daylin Shipley and 1 niece, Amber Shipley. Memorial services will be held at 3 PM Saturday, May 17, 2008 at the New Life Community Church of the Nazarene, 601 S. Clark Road, Show Low, Arizona. A Candlelight Burial will be held at the Show Low Cemetery following the Memorial Service. The family requests that flower or memorial donations be made to the New Life Community Church of the Nazarene, 601 S. Clark Road, Show Low, Arizona 85901 in Katherine Braswell's name.
