Evelyn Mae Benton

Evelyn Mae Benton, age 66, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2010 in Holbrook. She was born on January 3, 1943 in Keams Canyon, Arizona to Billy, Sr. and Selina (Clark) Williams. She is survived by her husband, Herman Benton, Sr.; 9 children, Fermin Benton, Corena Benton, Miranda Benton, Melvina Shorty, Colena Benton, Herman Benton, Jr., Ella Verna Benton, Thurmond Benton and Dominic Benton; 22 grandchildren; 5 brothers, Billy Williams, Robert Williams, Archie Williams, Timothy Williams, Wilfred Williams; 4 sisters, Betty Fuson, Irene Williams, Nory Ahasteen and Laverne Begishee. She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 children, Kermit Benton and Carmelita Benton. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at the Winslow Pentecostal Church of God - 109 Adler, Winslow, Arizona under the direction of Owens Livingston Mortuary of Holbrook. Interment will be in the Desert View Cemetery in Winslow.
