Elvis Altaha, Jr., lovingly known as "Boss", went home to be with the Lord on November 2, 2006. Boss was born on October 14, 1984 to Elvis and Mariam Altaha in Whiteriver, AZ. He was 22. Elvis loved basketball, camping, fishing, and hunting. He loved to help his family with anything that needed to be done. He also enjoyed his nephews and nieces and he had a nickname for each one of them. Boss is survived by his parents, Elvis, Sr. and Mariam Altaha; 2 brothers, Aaron Altaha and Darrick Truax; 3 sisters, Lisa, Marrissa, and Elmaria Altaha; 1 sister-in-law Tonna B. Altaha; 1 god-sister Denise Zahgotah; 3 grandmothers Serena Altaha, Martha Antonio, and Cecilia Hopper; 9 aunts, Bernita Truax, Juanda and Jolinda Antonio, Arlene Tate, Darlene, Jackie, Marlene, Cynthia and Janice Altaha; 3 uncles Leon Quintero, Sr., Jerrell Antonio, and Daryl Altaha; many cousins, other relatives, and friends. He is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Dareck and Darvin Altaha, and grandfather Frank Altaha. A wake will begin on Friday, November 10, 2006 at 10:00 am at Martha Antonio's residence in Canyon Day, AZ. The funeral service will be on Sunday, November 12, 2006 at 1:00 pm at the Canyon Day Assembly of God Church in Canyon Day, AZ. Interment will be in the Canyon Day Cemetery. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
