Lizzie Pinal Altaha, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother returned home to the Lord on Saturday, October 25, 2008 in Whiteriver. She was 90 years old. She was born September 15, 1918 to the late Joseph & Lizzie (Nachu) Pinal at Robert Ranch, Arizona. She lived a Christian life until her death. She was a faithful wife, a true and faithful mother and grandmother and was willing at any time to sacrifice her happiness for the welfare of her loved ones. During the week of her affliction she bore her suffering patiently, putting her trust in her savior. Her daily prayer was Jesus. She loved to cook, sew, read the bible and to pray. Lizzie is survived by 5 children; Cornelius Altaha, Evelyn Massey, Theresa Altaha, Sylvester Altaha, Joyce Altaha; 12 grandchildren; Cornelia Clendon, Gerald Altaha, Amanda Altaha, Jasper Altaha, Rowena Massey, Aaron Massey, Ruth Key, Darwin Massey, Edris Holden, Gib Joe Altaha, Wesley Altaha & Shandon Altaha; 22 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Allen Altaha & 8 children. Her body will be brought back to her home in Rainbow City House #19 on November 1, 2008 at 10:00 A.M for a one night wake. Funeral services will be on November 2, 2008 at 1:00 P.M., at the Canyon Day Miracle Church, Canyon Day Arizona. Interment will be at the Whiteriver Cemetery. Pastors, Gospel singers, Chairman, Vice Chairwomen and all Tribal Leaders are welcome.
